Thomas John Muthoot has been on our Board as Promotor Non-Executive Director since 22nd November 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Kerala and has participated in the Owner/President Management Programme from Harvard Business School. He has immense experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of financial services.

Thomas John is the Managing Director of Muthoot Fincorp Ltd, the flagship company of Muthoot Pappachan Group and MPG Hotels and Infrastructure Ventures Pvt. Ltd. He is also on the board of directors of several other companies like, Muthoot Capital Services Limited, Muthoot Housing Finance Company Limited, Muthoot Hotels Private Limited and Muthoot Microfin Ltd.

Beyond business, Thomas John truly believes in the value of human capital. He is passionate about real Financial Inclusion and keenly pursues upliftment of economically deprived; changing lives of common man and helping them in making their dream come true.

Thomas John is an Industry Thought Leader and is actively involved with various business platforms like CII and Kerala Management Association, amongst others. He has also been recipient of several awards, including ‘Young Hotel Entrepreneur Award, 2006’ conferred by the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India and the ‘Businessman of the Year, 2009’, conferred by Trivandrum Management Association.
