Thomas Muthoot has been on our Board as Promotor Non-Executive Director since 22nd November 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Law degree from University of Kerala.

Thomas Muthoot is the Managing Director of Muthoot Housing Finance Company Ltd. and Muthoot Microfin Ltd. and Executive Director of Muthoot Fincorp Ltd. He is on the board of directors of several other companies like Muthoot Capital Services Limited, Muthoot Hotels Private Limited and MPG Hotels and Infrastructure Ventures Pvt. Ltd. He has extensive experience and insight in the field of financial services.

Thomas Muthoot is an expert in Microcredit and Micro savings and is passionate about helping the masses achieve financial independence. Thanks to his innovative instincts, Muthoot Pappachan Group continues to unleash inventive, need-based financial products for low and middle-income groups. His in-depth understanding of emerging markets enabled the group to align and structure business interests nation-wide.

Thomas Muthoot is a recipient of the “SEN Inclusive Business and Community Award 2014” by YPO-WPO. Obsessive about cricket and social causes, Thomas is currently the Vice President of Ernakulam District Cricket Association and member of Kerala Cancer Care Society.
